The scales are based on bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology to evaluate body composition: a very low intensity and imperceptible electric current is sent from the lower part of the body. Based on current intensity variations, an estimate of body composition can be made.

It accurately measures 12 parameters: weight, body mass index (BMI), fat mass%, muscle mass %, body water %, visceral fat, skeletal system, basal metabolic rate, proteins, degree of obesity, body age and lean weight. Ideal for use by the whole family, it can store and recognise data for up to 8 different users. The scales can also be used in offline mode; in this case the data will be shown directly on the display.
